Principal's welcome

NewVIc is a thriving sixth form college located in the heart of east London. We specialise in working with young people aged 16-19 who have recently progressed from year 11 at school.

This year the college celebrates its 20th anniversary, and over the years NewVIc has grown and developed to become London’s largest sixth form college offering a vast range of programmes at advanced, intermediate and foundation levels.

Our college community includes over 300 dedicated staff who are focused on ensuring that all our students have every opportunity to learn, enjoy and achieve at college and ultimately progress successfully to higher education, employment or training.

You can read our latest annual report (pdf, 2.47mb). We look forward to welcoming you to our college.
