If you already hold the City & Guilds 2381 16th edition wiring regulations BS7671:2004 then this fast track course is for you. Other level 3 City & Guilds electrical qualifications may also be sufficient for entry on to the course. Please ask for more details.
The course will update your prior knowledge of the regulations to the new 17th edition regulations. This is now a requirement for all electrical installation professionals. Before enrolling on the course you will be required to take a short assessment of your numeracy and literacy.
What will I study?
You will learn through discussions, question and answer sessions and presentations using CDs and DVDs. At the end of the course you will take a PC-based multiple choice test and will have the results instantly printed out.
On successful completion of this qualification, you will be equipped with the understanding needed to carry out various tasks safely, in both residential and industrial environments, to the new 17th edition regulations. You will also be able to progress to an electrical wiring inspection and testing course.
