Why students choose NewVIc

Last year students from more than 150 different schools chose to pursue their studies at NewVIc. Here are just some of the reasons why –

Enrichment

The opportunity to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities from music and sport to volunteering and debating

Israel Kolade“NewVIc has such a wide variety of enrichment activities so it’s not all about studying hard. I’ve been learning the drums through the music bursary scheme, and joined clubs that helped me meet lots of new friends.”

Excellent teaching

Experienced, dedicated teachers that help every student achieve their best

Emma Pragnell“The teachers here couldn’t be more helpful and supportive. If ever I have a query about something, I know I can go straight to my teachers and resolve it. The regular tutorials are useful as they let me know how I’m getting on and what I can do to further develop in the subject.”

Ruman Hassan“My tutor was really helpful when it came to preparing my personal statement and university interview practice. NewVIc also provided interesting sessions on historical events and contemporary issues such as race, religion and politics which are all relevant to the course I applied for.”
