What will I be able to progress to?

This subject will prepare you to study business and related subjects such as finance and economics at university. You may also be able to move into employment in companies who recognise A-level business studies as a valuable qualification. Komal Lalwani (ex-Forest Gate School) studied this subject as one of her A-levels and achieved a grade A. She is now studying economics at the University of Southampton.

Other information

Unless you are intending to take a five AS-level programme it is not advisable to study both business studies and economics at A-level because of their overlap.

We also offer specialist pathways in financial services and economics for students confident that they would like to pursue further study and careers in these areas.
