What will I be able to progress to?
Languages can be studied individually or as part of a joint degree with other subjects. A language also combines well with areas such as business, finance, media, tourism, design and fashion, engineering, science and law. A language can also be used to pursue careers in interpreting, translating and teaching. Hakim Saber (ex-St Paul’s Way School) studied this subject as one of this A-levels and achieved a grade B. He is now studying translation at Middlesex University.
Other information
Language students are advised to buy a suitable dictionary. Students will also be encouraged to contribute to the cost of the study visit to Paris.
