The diplomas

These exciting and innovative qualifications provide an alternative to more traditional learning programmes. You will combine theoretical and practical learning both within college and in specialist work environments outside college, gaining first-hand experience and insight into the world of work.

If you are likely to achieve at least five A*–C grades at GCSE including English language and mathematics you will be able to study one of the two-year advanced diplomas to prepare you for university or employment. The advanced diploma is equivalent to 3.5 A-levels.
