Scholarship success
Former student Ali Ahsan, who recently completed his A-levels at NewVIc, has received a valuable Sir John Cass scholarship to fund his university studies through the course of his three year degree.
Ali achieved an impressive A* in chemistry and mathematics and an A grade in further mathematics and is now studying mathematical science at City University.
Ali’s personal tutor Claire Phillips provided the reference required for the scholarship application and explained how Ali demonstrated exceptional commitment to his studies, and was a role model to his peers. “Ali exceeded all of our expectations with his sheer determination, hard work and success, while helping other students along the way.”
