A message from Eddie Playfair, NewVIc Principal, about the future partnership between NewVIc and Lister Community School
I’d like to congratulate everyone involved with Carbolic. It is a brilliant publication which I always look forward to reading. It shows what young people can do when they produce a publication of their own which reflects their views and concerns, as well as campaigning against discrimination and for justice in the best journalistic tradition. I’m delighted that Lister school and NewVIc have decided to work together on the production of a magazine aimed at young people across Newham. By working together we can build on the excellent Carbolic tradition, produce something even bigger and better and reach an even wider audience. We’ll be starting with a pilot project this summer with a view to producing regular issues next year. In the meantime, keep up the good work!
