Supporting high achieving students the NewVIc Honours Programme
The NewVIc Honours Programme is a tailored academic programme of curriculum, enrichment and guidance, designed to equip high-achieving students with the knowledge and support needed to progress to a leading UK university.
The programme is open to both A-level and BTEC level 3 students. BTEC level 3 students must be studying relevant additional A-level alongside their main course. In both cases an average GCSE score of 6 or higher is required (including at least a B in English language, and we also normally expect you to have a B in maths). It would be an advantage to have achieved the English Bac.
The programme centres on weekly 1.5 hours session with a gifted and talented specialist who will help your son or daughter to develop higher level skills and take part in relevant, stimulating extracurricular activities.
The Honours Programme supports students to progress to a leading UK university (eg a Russell Group university). The Honours Programme supports a wide range of subject and we will advise you at interview about which may best complement your progression to university and beyond.
You can find out more about the Honours Programme, and the range of subjects it supports, by reading the information on the Honours Programme pages on this website.
