Method of assessment

Mandatory: There is one externally assessed unit and one internally assessed unit. The optional unit is internally assessed.

What will I be able to progress to?

Depending on your other A level choices, this subject will prepare you for a wide range of degree level courses. Many students progress to study Nursing, Social Care and other health-related subjects at university. You may choose to apply for a job or work experience within the Health and Social Care sector.

Other Information

The one-year Certificate is equivalent to an AS-level. The two-year Diploma is equivalent to an A level.
