Subject tasters and workshops linked with Gatsby

At NewVIc

Our subject tasters are interactive, engaging and give students a better understanding and insight into subjects they may be interested in. Many of the sessions meet the criterion of the Gatsby benchmarks specifically 3, 4 and 7.

We offer a range of A Level and vocational subject tasters and workshops designed to motivate, inform and inspire young people to become enthusiastic about selecting their future career from creative subjects to academic subjects.

Schools will be sent information about tasters, workshops and sessions via email and post.

Specific requests to complement GCSE curriculum for Newham schools

We are happy to consider requests for tailored sessions, which may be a careers focused or a subject specific session to help re-inforce current studies or broaden students’ knowledge in a specific subject.

Out of borough schools

We are happy to extend our offer of visits, taster sessions and workshops to secondary schools outside of Newham.  If you would like to book a session(s), please contact our Schools Liaison Officer.
