Become a T Level partner

MEET THE WORKFORCE OF THE FUTURE.

We are continuously looking for new employers to join our professional network and provide intensive industry placements for our T Level students.

About T Levels

T Levels are a new technical qualification for young people aged 16-19 who've completed their GCSEs. Each T Level is equivalent to 3 A Levels.

Developed with employers, T Levels are designed to help young people to gain the knowledge, experience and practical skills need to thrive in the workplace.

T Level students spend 80% of their time in the classroom. The other 20% is spent on an industry placement, where they the skills they have learnt into action.

What are industry placements?

Industry placements are a shift from traditional work experience to a longer, more structured placement in the workplace for young people to develop real work skills and make a meaningful contribution to your organisation. Placements will last at least 315 hours (approx. 45 days) and can be over 2 years. They can also be completed in blocks of 2-6 weeks, or 1 day a week over a longer period, depending on the course and the industry requirements.

Benefits of industry placements

Highly skilled, work-ready students are here to build your business and create opportunities for your organisation. Our students can help grow your business, develop in-demand technical skills and contribute to socio-economic development.

  • find solutions for entry-level skills shortages

  • develop future talent for your business

  • capitalise on new ideas and a fresh perspective

  • help nurture and develop talent

  • increase capacity

  • extra resource for specific projects

  • bring in people with imaginative, new ideas and different skills

Industry placements are happening now

As T Levels roll out, employers across England are partnering with local colleges to do industry placements.

You can join this vocational revolution right now. Our students are ready to start placements in areas such as:

  • education and childcare

  • construction

  • digital and IT (from September 2023)

  • health and science

  • legal, accounting and finance

Workplace experiences

Open up your workplace and invite our students to take part in week long workplace experiences so they can get a feel for working in sectors they wish to pursue a career in. You can also offer site tours and a day in the life experience offering one day work shadowing.
