College is more than just academic study

STUDENT LIFE.

Student life at NewVIc is never boring. We offer a vibrant experience of the college, with wellbeing support, exciting clubs and societies, elite sports and volunteering activities where you can develop your skills and talents and make new friends.

Student Union

POWER TO THE PEOPLE.

We listen and involve students in shaping college policy. We offer lots of opportunities to learn new skills and make new connections. Our students are engaged and ready to make a difference to the college and local community. With all this in mind, it’s no surprise that we have a very active student union.

Have your say

We are proud to have a very active and engaging Student Union (SU). Every NewVIc student is automatically a member of the SU. The SU provides a year-long programme of exciting events, activities and campaigns that will further enhance your college experience.

The SU is managed by student executive officers who are voted for each year. As a member of the SU you are entitled to:

  • join in organised social activities

  • get involved in our societies and groups

  • stand for election to become an SU executive officer

  • play an active role in college campaigns, events and learner voice activities
