NewVIc students celebrate hard work and dedication on A Level, VTQ and T Level Results Day


Congratulations to all the students at NewVIc - Class of 2023!

NewVIc hosted a mini celebration to mark the hard work, dedication and commitment of students on A Level, vocational and T level results day.

Overall 44.1% of students achieved grades A* to C at A Level, with students performing strongly in Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Graphic Design Further Maths, Sociology, Psychology and Physics.

42% of students on our vocational courses achieved a Triple Distinction (equivalent to A, A, A at A Level), bucking the national trend.

Principal and Chief Executive, Mandeep Gill said: “I’d like to congratulate all students whether they are progressing onto university, apprenticeships or employment. The hard work, dedication and commitment of our students is a real credit to them and will stand them in good stead in the future.

We wish them every success as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.”

Executive Director of Student Services & Wellbeing, David Francis said: “We are keen to ensure that any student who needs help with UCAS Clearing or deciding their next steps receives support so our Tutorial Team will be onsite to help students on Thursday 17 August (9.30 am- 4 pm ), Friday 18 August (9.30 am - 3 pm) and throughout the week commencing Monday 21 August (9.30 am - 3 pm).

In addition, our Safeguarding and Welfare Team will also be on site on Results Day to assist any students who may need emotional support.”
