Get some careers advice at our Open Days


ARE YOU EXPLORING POST-16 OPTIONS?

At our Open Days, our Careers Advisors (who are qualified information, advice and guidance practitioners) will be available to help you explore your course options and career progression routes through one-to-one advice. These sessions aim to support you in making well-informed decisions about your post-16 studies. Parents and carers are also welcome to attend these sessions too.

Career Pathway Sessions

We offer a wide range of courses for students aged 16-18 which can lead to further study and careers in many different sectors. Our Career Pathway sessions are grouped by career pathway to help inspire you as you explore your options and discover where our courses can take you. In each session you can find out more about different careers and course combinations and get a taster of the kind of topics and content you will learn about in our courses.

Want a fantastic range of enrichment opportunities?

We take student development seriously and provide a wide range of exciting opportunities for everyone, from clubs and societies and volunteering to sports and much more. We want you to broaden your sixth form experience, develop your interests and enhance your skills.

Check out this year’s Freshers Fair for a taste of the huge range of enrichment available to students.

 
 

Support for high achieving students

The NewVIc Honours Programme provides specialist guidance, a tailored curriculum, and enrichment opportunities to support progression to top universities, including Oxbridge, and higher apprenticeships - and the programme is open to all students with an average GCSE grade above a 6.5, irrespective of whether you choose to study A Levels, T Levels or vocational courses

Our Honours Programme will help you develop key skills and provide you with a range of experiences to make your application stand out from the rest.

Honours students are eligible to take part in our super curricular programmes and receive an additional hour each week along their main course programme to work with talented specialists.
