Enrolment FAQs.
What do I need to enrol?
Please bring:
Original copies of your GCSE / college results
A copy of your school/college reference ready to send to us at advice@newvic.ac.uk, if not already sent
Your original passport
Remember, if you are coming into the college, please bring original documents of the above.
I have already applied to NewVIc. What do I need to do?
If you have applied to NewVIc, you should have received a letter inviting you to enrolment. You will receive an email reminder on GCSE results day with a link to enter your official GCSE results and upload an image of your results. You must then come in person to enrol.
I haven’t applied to NewVIc, but I would like to start a course in September. What should I do?
If you haven’t applied you can still come in to enrol with us. You will be asked to complete an enrolment application. Please remember to bring original copies of all the necessary documents, including your results, with you to enrol.
Can I enrol online?
No. You must come onsite and enrol in person.

I’m having trouble enrolling online, who do I contact?
You can call our Enrolment Helpline on 0207 540 6999 and a member of staff will guide you through the process and answer all your queries. Lines open from Wednesday 21 August 2024 from 9.30 am - 4.30 pm. (Note: lines will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August and weekends).
I’ve been offered a place but can I change my subjects?
Yes you can change your subjects. You can tell us which subject you would like to enrol onto when you come into enrol. Our experienced curriculum team will be ready to support you.
Remember to complete your online enrolment form as soon as you receive your GCSE results or bring them to the college once you have them.
I did not apply to NewVIc. What shall I do?
If you would like to enrol at NewVIc, please come in to the college to complete an enrolment form.
Please remember to bring your results. A reference will also help us to put you on the right course. Last entry is at 4 pm.
I did not get my grades. What shall I do?
Don’t worry. Once you receive your results, please come in and talk to us. We will do our best to find a course that is right for you.
I can't make enrolment. Can someone enrol on my behalf?
Unfortunately we do not offer this service. It is important that you enrol in person and sign for your own enrolment and programme of study.
I can't make enrolment. Can you reserve me a place?
We offer places on a first come first served basis. Unfortunately we are unable to reserve places. As soon as you are able to, please come in and see us and we will support you to enrol on a suitable available course.
Can I enrol without my results?
No. We must see your results to be able to enrol you on the right course and level.
I will be away during enrolment what should I do?
Please come into the college as soon as you are able to, we will be available to support you.
Can I retake or restart my A Levels?
We will look at this on a case by case basis. You can discuss this with a member of our experienced curriculum team.
Can I study A Levels alongside a BTEC?
You can study mixed Level 3 Extended Certificates and A Levels. You can also study a single A Level alongside a full Level 3 Extended Diploma. Please take a look at our online course list for which Level 3 Certificates and Level 3 Extended Diplomas we offer.
I am an overseas student, I did my education abroad.
You will need to bring your results from your school and your original passport. We will give you an English and Maths assessment to determine your current level and then help you choose an appropriate course of study. We may also compare your results to UK qualifications to enrol you on the right level.
I am 19 or older and want to enrol for A Levels or BTECs.
Unfortunately you must be aged 16 to 18 years old at the start of your course. You will need to research further education providers that offer courses for adults.
I am 19 or older and want to enrol on Maths or English GCSE.
Unfortunately, if you are aged 19 or over, you cannot enrol for these courses. You will need to research further education providers that offer courses for adults.
I am home schooled or have a non-standard education.
