  • Student Union shortlisted for NUS Award

    NewVIc Student Union has been shortlisted for the prestigious Representation and Campaigning Award by the National Union of Students (NUS).  

    It is the only sixth form college in the country to be shortlisted.

    It is a huge achievement to be shortlisted, particularly as this is the first year ever that NewVIc Student Union has applied for the award.

  • Hundreds of students aim high at the NewVIc HE Fair 2018  ​​​​​​​

    More than 35 universities and higher education (HE) organisations visited NewVIc on Tuesday 20 March 2018 for the College’s annual HE fair. Over 800 students visited the event held in the main social space for students, the Link, speaking to universities such as the Oxford Brookes, King’s College London, London Metropolitan University and the University of Bristol.

  • World-class theatre The Donmar Warehouse inspires NewVIc students in the meaning behind films and plays.  ​​​​​​​

    NewVIc performing arts students were offered an exciting opportunity to participate in a workshop with Lynette Linton the Resident Assistant Director of the award winning theatre The Donmar Warehouse, which is the home for leading artists to make compelling theatre. A-level drama student Alexandra Morar said, “Director Lynette made the workshop really interactive with the tasks she set for us, it was challenging and so much fun at the same time”.
