Celebrating NewVIc Sixth Form Class of 2025: Results Day
Today we were delighted to welcome back our students as they collected their A Level, Vocational and T Level results. We are proud of the achievements of all our students and pleased that over 450 students have already secured their first choice destinations, including progression onto university, apprenticeships, Higher Technical Qualifications or their chosen career pathways.
NewVIc has seen another significant year of improvement for A-levels, T-Levels and BTECs. The pass rate was 95%, a double-digit increase since NewVIc Sixth Form Centre joined the Newham College London family.
High grades on BTEC courses rose by 17%, with 64% of students now achieving the highest grades.
A-level programmes have shown sustained improvement, with a 2% increase in the pass rate to 95% and a 2% rise in the proportion of students achieving grades A*-C (54%). Nearly 50% of students studying A Level Maths and 40% of students studying A Level Business attained grades A* to B.
Our T-Levels in Digital Production, Childcare, Nursing, and Finance and Accounting performed strongly too, with a 94% pass rate.
