A Level Physics teacher recognised as Active Science Expert Teacher by Isaac Science and Cambridge University
We’re delighted to announce that Zainab Hashmi, an A Level Physics teacher at NewVIc Sixth Form Centre, part of Newham College London, has been recognised as an Isaac Physics Expert Teacher status at Active Level for the academic year 2024-2025.
We’re delighted to announce that Zainab Hashmi, an A Level Physics teacher at NewVIc Sixth Form Centre, part of Newham College London, has been recognised as an Isaac Physics Expert Teacher status at Active Level for the academic year 2024-2025.
This recognition is due to Zainab’s exceptional dedication to student learning. To achieve Active Level status, Zainab set more than 10 assignments per term and over 25 assignments annually, all of which were successfully completed by her students.
Isaac Science, which began in 2013, is a project funded by the University of Cambridge and supported by the Ogden Trust. Through the regular use of Isaac Physics assignments, students develop the fluency and analytical skills in science and mathematics required for university study and improved academic performance. Educational research undertaken over several years supports these findings, and the Isaac Science brand is highly respected by schools and universities alike.
Zainab, A Level Teacher of Physics, NewVIc Sixth Form Centre said;
“Receiving this award provides me with invaluable support and training, which I am excited to use to help our students stay motivated and reach their full potential in Physics.
