Intensive GCSE students design and run Citizenship pop up event
At the end of the last term, GSCE citizenship students on our 1 year Intensive GCSE programme ran an active citizenship project pop up stall in the Link.
Over the past month they've designed a project to promote the benefits of self expression. The pop up event gave them an opportunity to reflect on what they’ve learnt, ahead of their upcoming GCSE exams.
Saima Bibi, GCSE Citizenship teacher said, "I’m really proud of the students. They've developed organisation skills, learnt how to design and run an impactful campaign and gained advocacy skills too - all the attributes needed to be good active citizens.”
